I am ecstatic that Obama was elected as the 44th president of the United States of America. We the people, seeing and desperately wanting the need for CHANGE cast our votes and made history on November 4th, 2008: a day that forever will be remembered in history; a day in which the racial barriers that obscured this country for more than two centuries were tumbled and proven wrong; a day in which we the people chose Obama as our next president! Immaturity needs to come to an end; racism NEEDS to come to an end. We are all equal and deserve the liberty to enjoy life at its fullest. There are those who did not want Obama to become president because of his color; it is a great shame for them even be called citizens of the United States of America: a country founded on the fundamental values of liberty and justice for all! As an Independent supporter of Obama, I am proud to have voted for the first African-American president, our 44th president! To all those who voted for him, celebrate! To all those who did not, we all make mistakes but it is time to move on and accept the reality that history has been made, so celebrate as well! This goes to show that the power of the people, just by going out to vote, can have a tremendous impact on this country's path and history: yes we can, and yes we did!

President-Elect Obama's Victory Speech:

Whatever your views and choices are for the upcoming November 4th election, there is no doubt that it will be the most historic and important election of this country's history. No matter who wins the election it will be of historic value because: 1) The first African-American will become President; 2)or the first woman to become a Vice-President, which could go on to become president considering the deteriorating health and age of her presidential running-mate. So go out and vote, (those who can) and let us make history!

By the way, VOTE OBAMA FOR PRESIDENT! Hehehe. Enough with Republicans and their failed administrative system. Major fault goes to them for having hurt the economy more than what it had ever been since the Great Depression, thus making this country's dollar power worth scraps compared to the Euro or British pound.Enough with McSame and Sarah Failing, and VOTE OBAMA!
